This interactive session gives participants an introduction to GitHub Code Quality: GitHub’s dedicated product for identifying and remediating reliability and maintainability issues within code repositories. Delivered as a blend of presentations and guided demo walkthroughs, the training covers how to enable GitHub Code Quality at scale, how the “github-code-quality[bot]” surfaces findings on pull requests and turns each PR into an opportunity to improve code quality, and how Copilot Autofix accelerates remediation of existing code issues.

Customer prerequisites

Before this training, the customer needs to have in place:

  • GitHub Enterprise Cloud
  • GitHub Actions enabled on target repositories
  • Repositories contain at least one supported language: C#, Go, Java, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, or TypeScript
  • Repository admin or organization owner access for the enabling user (required for Repository Enablement API configuration)
