Hi,
One thing worth adding to your existing ticket if you haven't already: explicitly mention which repo Antigravity created the PR on and roughly when, since specificity like that helps human reviewers verify quickly rather than re-asking. |

Hello everyone,
I'm posting here to see if anyone has experienced something similar and to understand what I should expect from the reinstatement process.
About six days ago, my main GitHub account (Sujit-1509) was unexpectedly suspended. I was actively working on one of my personal projects when I was suddenly logged out. When I tried to sign back in, I was presented with an "Account suspended" message stating that my account had been suspended due to a potential Terms of Service violation.
I immediately submitted an official reinstatement request through GitHub Support. Shortly afterward, I received a response stating that my account had been flagged by GitHub's abuse-detection systems and asking me to explain how I planned to use GitHub.
I provided a detailed response explaining that I use GitHub for:
University coursework
Personal software engineering projects
Open-source contributions
Learning and building software
I also explained that around the time of the suspension I was working on a single personal RAG project using Claude Code as an AI-assisted development tool and had used Antigravity on one repository, where it created one pull request. I was not using automation to mass-create repositories, pull requests, issues, comments, or other spam-like activity.
Since then, I haven't received any further updates.
One thing that has confused me is that if I submit another reinstatement request, I receive the same initial message asking how I plan to use GitHub. However, after I reply with the requested information, I don't receive any follow-up or update. Because of this, I'm unsure whether my replies are actually being reviewed or if I simply need to wait longer.
Around the same time my account was suspended, I also received GitHub Education emails regarding academic reverification. My GitHub Student Developer Pack had been active and working normally for approximately 6–7 months before those emails. I'm not assuming the two events are related, but I thought I'd mention the timing in case anyone has seen something similar.
I'm not asking anyone here to review or reinstate my account, as I understand only GitHub Support can do that.
I'm mainly hoping to hear from others who may have gone through a similar situation:
Has anyone else had their account flagged by GitHub's abuse-detection system?
How long did it take before you received a response from a human reviewer?
Is it normal to receive the same initial response for each reinstatement request?
After you replied with the requested information, how long did it take to hear back?
Is there anything else I should do while waiting, or is it simply a matter of patience?
If anyone from GitHub Staff happens to see this, I'd also appreciate knowing whether my reinstatement request is still in the review queue. I'm happy to provide any additional information if needed.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated.
