Issues

• bound_ne() drops every psi with Sn + Sp - 1 <= 0.01 untested and reports it as falsified; check_compatibility() uses 1e-6

• heals_data: a sampled zero cell (A*=0, M=1, Y=1) falsifies the documented truth, so the HEALS vignette example returns no bounds

• Sparse strata are reported as falsification: with continuous confounders bound_ne() drops every parameter set, and check_compatibility() returns a vacuous TRUE

• set.seed(42) inside advanced_grid_search pins the RNG for the bootstrap that follows

• use_adaptive_grid is inert through bound_ne(): grid_method's "lhs" default disables the branch it selects

  Data-Wise/medrobust#32 · Filter by author Data-Wise opened on Aug 29, 2026

• Two silent failure surfaces: exposure endpoint SE never counts failed resamples, and the n_grid cap is undocumented

• Epsilon-guarded odds returns 1/eps as a bound endpoint; na.rm=TRUE in the same reduction is unguarded
